Scott Mazza has spent most of his life paying attention to what he puts in his body. 

Long before CBD was a mainstream conversation, he was drawn to natural products and the thinking behind them: that the body responds well to what the earth produces, and that real wellness rarely comes with a list of side effects.

That interest in hemp and cannabis started early and never stayed surface-level. He studied the plant, followed its history, understood the culture around it, and spent years frustrated by the distance between what it was actually capable of and how it had been publicly portrayed.

The 2018 Farm Bill brought hemp into the mainstream. When it was federally descheduled, a CBD market that had been operating in a gray area suddenly had room to grow, and it did quickly, with new brands launching constantly and very little oversight keeping pace with them. People who had been quietly curious about CBD found themselves sorting through products that called themselves organic without any certification to back it up, lab results that were missing or impossible to interpret, and sellers making promises about what CBD could do that went well beyond anything the science supported. The misconceptions ran in both directions:

Buyers who didn't know what to look for, and sellers who weren't trying very hard to help them figure it out.

As a result, Scott founded Vitality CBD in 2019 to build the brand he would actually trust. That meant full-spectrum CBD made from American-grown hemp, USDA-certified organic, tested by independent labs whose names he'd put on the bottle. It meant pricing it fairly, because quality and accessibility didn't have to work against each other. And it meant building the whole thing around a simple conviction: that the best way to change how people think about hemp is to give them a product that earns their trust completely and never gives them a reason to question it.
