Is Delta 8 THC Something I Should Know About?

Delta 8 is one of the 4 most common cannabinoids - but if it's that common, why don't you know more about it?

If you are thinking; "Well I am a cannabis-connoisseur and I've never heard of Delta 8", you're not alone! We've got your covered - by the time you finish reading this post, you will know all you need to about Delta 8!

Because of Delta 8's ability to function similar to CBD - expect with more noticeable effects - Delta 8 is becoming a hot topic in the industry.

Like CBD, Delta 8 is less-psychoactive. This means it is physically sedative rather than mentally sedative. People who consume Delta 8 have reported less psychoactive effects than when using the common cannabis. They didn't experience social anxiety, paranoia, or couch potato behavior.

Delta 8 is full of the good stuff!

Unlike CBD and THC, Delta 8 binds to two receptors - creating a more comfortable and social effect.

When ingested, Delta 8 is like a stronger version of CBD! Delta 8 has a smoother intake and a sweeter flavor, which appeals to even the most seasoned cannabis-connoisseur.

Early Studies of Delta 8 showed that Delta 8 will actually boost a channel in the brain which plays a role in learning and memory - providing more mental clarity and less head high.

Studies Show...

Chemists first began experimenting with Delta 8 many years ago - their research showed promising effects.

In 1975, researchers discovered it could shrink cancer tumors in rats. In 1995, Israel scientists  administered Delta 8 to pediatric cancer patients who were suffering from nausea associated with chemotherapy and found it dramatically cured the nausea, with a 100% success rate over 480 treatments.

The US’ National Cancer Institute reported a “lower psychotropic potency” then that of  Delta 9 THC, meaning that Delta 8 is less associated with a stoned feeling. They also suggest that Delta 8 could affect a different set of cannabinoid receptors—the brain’s natural mechanism for receiving the benefits of these types of compounds. This may be why many patients report that Delta 8 provides a general sense of well-being—the cannabinoid receptors involved are associated with a physical state known as homeostasis, the body’s natural resting state, when it is not in a fight, flight, or freeze mode.

Many users reported positive experiences; including but not limited to - feeling relaxed, clear-headed and energized.

  • Cognition
  • Memory
  • Arousal
  • Neuroplasticity

Who is Delta 8 Good For?

Delta 8 is good for people who:

  • Have not found the relief they desired from a CBD regimen
  • Have a low THC tolerance
  • Suffer from a lack of appetite or nausea
  • Want help managing their anxiety but don't want to be impaired
  • Person recovering from a TBI
  • Menstrual cramping
