Vitality CBDCBD Information

Pain comes in many different forms and levels of intensity, making the pain relief industry constantly in demand. With a long history of success but only recent acknowledgment by scientists as a natural pain reliever, CBD is growing more popular by the day. And with so many people in the U.S. and around the world in need of a reliable and natural pain reliever, there’s an ever-growing question that needs to be answered: How do you use CBD oil for pain?

There are 2 main methods worth discussing: oral consumption and topical application. Dive into this topic with us, where we’ll discuss how to successfully do each of these methods and different types of pain that could benefit from them.

How to Use CBD Oil for Pain

Orally

There are 2 ways that you can orally consume CBD oil. The first one is very simple, especially because Vitality’s CBD oil comes equipped with a dropper. For this method, just take your desired dosage and drop it directly into your mouth. Swallow it and wait for the effects to kick in.

The second option is taking it under your tongue, which is known as sublingual administration. This method is less known but is preferred by many experienced CBD lovers for its fast-acting effects. For this method, all you have to do is place the desired dosage underneath your tongue, close your mouth, hold for 60 seconds, and swallow the remaining CBD oil.

And, of course, we can’t talk about how to take CBD oil without answering the next important question: how much should you take? The dosage is super important in order to achieve the desired effects. However, there are many different factors that could affect your dosage, such as your weight, metabolism, tolerance, and of course, your level of pain. If you have high levels of pain, you may need a higher dosage than someone with minor aches.

What we suggest is to follow our guide below, but keep in mind the factors at work. In other words, there may be a couple of trials and errors when it comes to dosage, so you should always start small and gradually increase until you find the right dosage for you.

Topically

Topical CBD is very easy to use and can target specific areas of pain, relieving both the surface pain as well as the deeper muscles. There are two ways you can apply CBD to your skin. You can choose to mix your CBD oil with your favorite lotion, or you can opt for topical CBD that comes ready to use.

All you have to do is apply it to your targeted area, massaging it so that it can be absorbed into your skin. In terms of dosage, you just need to apply it as you would any other lotion. Make sure to cover the area well so that all of the targeted areas are reached.

You can apply topical CBD all over your body, or you can just apply it to the areas where you’re experiencing pain.

Oral vs. Topical CBD: Which One Is Right for Me?

Oral and topical CBD are both great options, but you should choose a method depending on your goals.

CBD salve is best for those who have superficial pain since it targets the exact area that you apply it. This makes it great for muscle tightness and tension, chronic body pain, arthritis, or even post-workout recovery. It also makes for a great supplement if you’re stressed and need to relax your muscles after a long day. And since each person may use it for a different purpose, there are different products depending on your needs.

At Vitality, we have three specialized salves:

  • CBD salve for pain: This salve is infused with eucalyptus to enhance its natural pain-relieving properties. This is the salve that we recommend for pain, which most people reading this article would be eligible for. However, we invite you to consider other salves for different purposes as well.
  • CBD for relaxation: Infused with lavender and peppermint oil, this product helps reduce stress caused by anxiety, and/or extenuating physical activity.
  • CBD for tension: This salve focuses on helping users find relief from tension derived from menstrual cramps, menopause symptoms, and muscle soreness and spasms, among others.

Oral CBD oil, on the other hand, is ideal for internal issues that are not site-specific. This includes pain related to conditions such as arthritis, migraines, sore throats, nerve damage, stomach pain, and muscle aches. For these conditions, we recommend our organic CBD oil.

Remember that every person is different, and you should create a routine that works for you.
